  • What is the Celebrate Double Bay Festival?

    It’s a vibrant two-day street festival celebrating the best of Double Bay - local fashion, food, music, and community spirit.

    When and where is the festival held?

    The next festival will take place on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 February 2026, throughout the Double Bay commercial centre and waterfront.

    Is there an entry fee?

    No! The festival is free and open to everyone.

  • What kind of activities can I expect?

    Enjoy live music, fashion showcases, art exhibitions, family-friendly entertainment, and interactive sponsor activations throughout the precinct.

    Will there be entertainment for children?

    Yes, there will be family-friendly zones with games, performances, and creative workshops for kids.

    Are pets allowed?

    Leashed pets are welcome in outdoor areas, but please check individual venue policies.

  • Will there be any road closures during the festival?

    Yes. On Saturday 21 February, the following streets will be pedestrian-only from 8am to 8pm:

     

    • Guilfoyle Avenue

    • Bay Street (between New South Head Road and Knox Lane)

    • Knox Street (between Bay Street and Goldman Lane)

    Please plan your travel accordingly and follow signage and directions from event staff.

  • How do I get to Double Bay?

    Double Bay is accessible by ferry, bus, and train. We recommend using public transport as parking is limited.

    Is there parking available?

    Limited street parking is available. The parking stations in and around Double Bay will all be open. We encourage attendees to use public transport or rideshare services.

  • Will there be food and drinks available?

    Yes! Local cafes, restaurants, and bars will be offering special menus and extended trading hours during the festival.

    Can I shop at the festival?

    Absolutely. Explore Double Bay’s boutique retailers and enjoy exclusive in-store experiences and sponsor activations.

  • How can I become a sponsor, vendor or performer?

    Can I volunteer at the festival?

    Yes! We welcome volunteers. Check out the Volunteer section for more details.

  • Is the festival accessible for people with disabilities?

     Yes, most areas are wheelchair accessible. Please contact us for specific accessibility needs.

    What safety measures are in place?

    The festival follows all local safety guidelines, with security and first aid stations on site.
