Double Bay is gearing up for a major two-day open-street festival, with the launch of the inaugural Celebrate Double Bay Festival presented by Buildcorp on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 February 2026.

The event is proudly funded by the NSW Government’s Open Street Program, led by Transport for NSW, and hosted by Woollahra Council in partnership with the Bay Street Initiative.

There’s never been a better time to Celebrate Double Bay, Sydney’s iconic harbourside village where style, community, and culture come together.

Celebrate Double Bay is a boutique summer festival, a place where Sydney’s best restaurants, retailers, and residents come together to celebrate life by the harbour, in style.

Double Bay Runway: Anchoring the event’s commitment to cosmopolitan sophistication, this refined open-air spectacle will showcase a high-energy edit of the precinct’s premiere fashion boutiques.

Featured brands include iconic Double Bay locals, Oroton, Manning Cartell, Zadig & Voltaire, Rag and Bone and more in a celebration of style and movement that redefines the modern runway experience. Presenting Partner Body By Berner.

Crispy, golden corn tortillas dipped in birria-infused tallow and stuffed with your choice of 12-hour slow-cooked Beef or tender Marinated Chicken. Served with melted mozzarella cheese, fresh onion, coriander, homemade salsa and a side of rich, spiced consommé for the ultimate dunk.

Big Boi Nachos

Hand-cut corn chips piled high and smothered in house-made nacho cheese, jalapeños, and your choice of Birria Beef or Chicken. Finished with fresh salsa and zesty lime.

When and where is the festival held?
The next festival will take place on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 February 2026, throughout the Double Bay commercial centre and waterfront.
Is there an entry fee?
No! The festival is free and open to everyone.
What kind of activities can I expect?
Enjoy live music, fashion showcases, art exhibitions, family-friendly entertainment, and interactive sponsor activations throughout the precinct.
Will there be entertainment for children?
Yes, there will be family-friendly zones with games, performances, and creative workshops for kids.
Are pets allowed?
Leashed pets are welcome in outdoor areas, but please check individual venue policies.
Will there be any road closures during the festival?
Yes. On Saturday 21 February, the following streets will be pedestrian-only from 8am to 8pm:

• Guilfoyle Avenue

• Bay Street (between New South Head Road and Knox Lane)

• Knox Street (between Bay Street and Goldman Lane)

Double Bay is accessible by ferry, bus, and train. We recommend using public transport as parking is limited.
Is there parking available?
Limited street parking is available. The parking stations in and around Double Bay will all be open. We encourage attendees to use public transport or rideshare services.

Yes! Local cafes, restaurants, and bars will be offering special menus and extended trading hours during the festival.
